TWU problems
Watching the last day or two and waiting to see what would happen with the possible Transit strike, I found it interesting when the Vice President of the TWU, John Mooney, came out to the microphones and started critizing the president of the union, Roger Toussaint. While I understand why he was upset, I think that he did more damage and weakened his own unions position in the negotiations by making those comments. The whole premise behind the union is that there is strength comes from their joining together to speak as one voice. When he came out and started making those comments on camera, it weakened the bargaining power of the union. "A house divided against itself will not stand". I can't say how much of an impact this actually had on the negotiations, if the union wants to keep the power it has, it better get everyone on the same page or next time it could really cost them.

I believe that the Union President Roger Toussaint sold out his people and must have been out of his mind with all of the givebacks and secret deals he has agreed to. I would also like to mention that whoever criticizes John Mooney does not know what they are talking about. John Mooney is a real leader not a phony like Roger because Roger treats his Vice Presidents like they do not exist. I seen John Mooney work for his members and try to bring up issues of his members and Mr. Roger Toussaint Blacklists anyone that does not Follow his Explicit Facist Regieme Tactics. which include not letting his Vice Presidents to be involved in the process of negotiation. I believe John Mooney could do one billion times better job than the Sellout Local 100 Roger Toussaint. Roger Toussaint would be better off going back to wherever he came from and sell coconuts because apparently a coconut has more intelligence than what he has portrayed. Im tired of being sold out by Roger Toussaint & I am Voting NO on the contract.
